If there is one thing I can say about my family is that we are close even though we live miles apart from each other. So when I flew home for a wedding in Colorado I couldn't say no to capturing Ashley's senior pictures :)
Ashley is the daughter of my cousin Jason. Jason is a few years older than me and grew up right down the street from my house. Although I had already moved away and started a family of my own when he had Ashley that didn't change how much I adored her. We didn't get to spend hours hanging out when she was little, and I didn't get to attend her birthday parties but she always held a special place in my heart.
Distance means so little when someone means so much.
Family is everything to me.
And I would do anything for them.
So when I flew home last year to capture a wedding Ashley asked if I could take her Senior pictures. I knew I would have a limited amount of time and I knew we would have to start early.
Then she mentioned she wanted some with her house that she was going to have to give up.
And my heart sank.
So I traveled 6 hours a day early, got a few hours of sleep, woke up at 5:00 am and drove to be ready for the sunrise at 6:00 am.
We shot for 45 minutes, I traveled back to my hotel for my things and hopped on a plane back to Tennessee.
And it was worth every minute.
And then some.
I am so proud of this beautiful girl and can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
Everyone meet my beautiful niece Ashley and Dreamer
