This session was SO amazing and I am so excited to share it with all of you!!! First let me start by saying Mackenzie's Aunt rocks!! She booked this session for Mackenzie, took her out for a day of shopping and drove her hours just to have me capture her big senior moment. We even shed a few tears together at the end of the session. Yeah she kinda rocks :)
So Mackenzie and I had never met and since we lived hours from each other I sent her over a little questionnaire to get to know her. You can find out so much about someone you have never met just by asking a few right questions.
Well, I quickly found out that little Ms. Mackenzie had a love of horses. Growing up she spent time with her grandfather who also had a love of horses. I could tell from her answers that those were special moments for her, and with her grandfather passing, they were even more special now.
Well, if you have followed me long enough, you know I had to pull out all the stops to get this girl a horse for her session.
In that process I was reminded how there are still really good, decent, kind hearted people in this world. Within an hour and one phone call I had a horse lined up for our session, and I couldn't wait to surprise both Mackenzie and her aunt.
And let me tell you secrets are sooooo hard for me to keep :)
I say it all the time that I am blessed to know some amazing people. After this session I can honestly say I am blessed to have met Mackenzie and her Aunt. I am honored to know a man who offered up his farm and horse for our session and I am proud that so many people came together to make this session happen.
Mackenzie, thank you for spending the afternoon with me, I had the best time with you!!! I can't wait to see what this amazing, beautiful, bright future has in store for you. Congratulations!!
